Democrats preparing for Springfield convention.

Springfield will be hosting the Massachusetts Democratic Party’s 2012 Endorsing convention on Saturday, June 2nd at the MassMutual Center.

The main event is the party’s endorsement for U.S. Senate which is expected to go to Elizabeth Warren.

Five thousand delegates from across the state will be in Springfield for the event. 

After the acceptance speech,by the endorsed candidate, there will be a city wide canvass in Springfield. Party leaders and volunteers will be going door-to-door in a get-out-the vote effort for November.
