Ryan came thru Bradley Airport for Romney meeting

If you were watching NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday you heard how Paul Ryan came thru Bradley International Airport in Connecticut incognito for his meeting in Brookline with Mitt Romney on August 5th, when Romney offered him the Vice Presidential spot on the ticket.

Reporters had been staking out Ryan’s Wisconsin home and the Romney folks wanted to avoid tipping off the press to Ryan’s selection until the official announcement.

To avoid detection by flying in to Boston’s Logan Airport, Ryan flew from Chicago to Bradley International Airport. There he was picked up by the son of one of his top aides, Beth Myers, for a meeting at Myers’ house.

After the announcement of Ryan as the V.P. pick this weekend, Myers revealed how they got Ryan into Brookline undetected.

Ryan cam into Bradley dressed casually in jeans, baseball cap and sunglasses. And he didn’t get noticed.

So folks always keep your eyes open!
