3 Mass. speakers at Democratic National Convention

Massachusetts will be well represented at the speaker’s podium at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Gov. Deval Patrick, who is a good friend of President Obama, is on the  list, along with Sen. John Kerry and Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren.

The Democratic National Convention kicks off on Monday, September 3rd, which is Labor Day, with CarolinaFest, a free festival that will highlight the city and host state.

The Convention sessions get underway on Tuesday, September 4th.

The Democratic National Convention culminates on Thursday, September 6, when President Obama will accept his party’s Presidential nomination at Bank of America Stadium.
