Sen. Kerry helping President prep for debate

Massachusetts Senator John Kerry is no stranger to debates.

That’s probably why the Obama campaign has had him serving as Mitt Romney’s stand-in during President Barack Obama’s practices for the Presidential debate in Denver on Wednesday, October 3.

Kerry, is a skilled debater from his years as Senator from Massachusetts and in 2004 when he was the Democratic Presidential nominee and had a series of debates with then President George Bush.

President Obama is in Nevada, prepping for the debates and Sen. Kerry is there also.

Republican Presidential nominee, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, practiced over the weekend here in his home state before heading out to Colorado, where he’ll have more rehearsals for the debate.

Standing in at President Obama at Romney’s practices, is Ohio Senator Rod Portman.
