For us in Western Massachusetts, Springfield will be hosting a debate between Sen. Scott Brown and
his Democratic challenger, Elizabeth Warren on Wednesday, October 10.
It puts Springfield in the spotlight in this Senate race that is drawing national attention.
It is the only debate between the two being held in the western part of the state.
The debate will take place at Springfield Symphony Hall.
It runs from 7-8 p.m.
It is a ticketed event. Tickets were made available to the public last week on a first-come first served basis.
The second big debate of the week, will be on Thursday, October 11, when Vice President Joe Biden and Republican Paul Ryan, who is Mitt Romeny’s running mate meet for their only debate in Kentucky.
With just a month to go to Election Day, October traditionally with it’s debates fires up party activisits and helps undecideds zero in on their choices.
