(WWLP) — Attending a Presidential Inauguration is a moment in history.
Candy Glazer of Longmeadow was one of the hundreds of thousands of people, who were part of that moment on Monday when President Barack Obama was sworn-in for his second term, in ceremonies at the Capitol.
Glazer, who is Chair of the Longmeadow Democratic Town Committee and a long-time Democratic Party activist, said it was fun sharing in the excitement of the Inauguration festivities.
This was the fourth Inauguration that Glazer has attended. But this one held special meaning for her since, she served as an Elector in December, when the state’s Electoral College ballots for the President were cast at the State House.
