On the road in Iowa

The Republican Presidential candidates are rumbling across Iowa in buses in advance of Tuesday’s caucuses.  But just not any type of bus. An Associated Press report describes the buses as “garishly painted buses with loudspeakers blaring campaign music.”

In Iowa there is a lot of territory to cover, 99 counties to be exact.

Michelle Bachman on Thursday completed her bus tour after stopping in that state’s nearly 100 counties.

But former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum appears to be taking a page out of Senator Scott Brown’s playbook.  Santorum is traveling around Iowa in a supporter’s pickup truck,

But in Santorum’s case, it’s because he doesn’t have the money behind him for the large buses. However, late polls have show that Santorum appears to be picking up some momentum in Iowa.
