No Southern hospitality for Romney in South Carolina

His fellow Republican presidential candidates are showing Mitt Romney no Southern hospitality.

Fresh off two back-to-back victories in Iowa and New Hampshire for Romney, now it’s the battle for South Carolina.

And the attack ads are out in force as the GOP candidates head toward their next showdown in that state’s primary on January 21st. Super pacs for each candidate are spending millions of dollars for attack ads in South Carolina.

Romney’s the prime target, as other contenders try to slow down his possible path to the GOP presidential nomination.

The South Carolina primary could prove to be a turning point in the campaign. If Romney wins it, picking up a third victory, he’s all but assured of the GOP nomination.
